Course Description
Learn the proper procedures for completing NFPA 25 code required weekly and monthly fire pump runs. Routine pump runs are the key to the overall life expectancy of your equipment and ensure that your pump will stand ready to perform when called upon in the event of an emergency. This 2 hour course will include approx one hour of classroom training to review the history of fire pumps and  a brief overview of their internal components and how they work, as well as one hour of hands on field training with the working fire pump at Sprinklermatic University. All attendees shall receive a certificate of attendance from SPP Pumps and will leave feeling more confident on how to properly exercise and maintain the fire pump within the building they maintain or manage.

Instructor: Chris Dilday
Chris has worked in fire protection industry and has been with SPP Pumps for 15 years. As the Southeastern Regional Sales Manager he travels through the US educating life safety professionals and contractors about fire pumps and representing SPP Pumps. In addition, Chris served our country in the Army and has been an active member of the Georgia Army national Guard for the past 19 years. He has a wife, Shannon and 2 children.
